The Aditya Birla Capital Advisors Private Limited (ABCAP) team’s unique blend of long term principal investing, deep operational experience spanning several sectors and exemplary transaction implementation experience enables it to render strong strategic and operational inputs and stay engaged over long horizons with portfolio companies. The company is realistic and patient about how development of the portfolio companies unfolds and have outstanding abilities for advising portfolio companies through all stages of growth, from start-up through to IPO or strategic sale.
ABCAP believes in working through an active partnership-based model and most often takes board seats. While the company does not seek to engage operationally in management, it expects to provide active guidance and assist with appropriate relationships and network in growing the portfolio company’s business.
After expression of initial interest in an investment proposal, depending on the complexity of the business model, usually no more than six weeks are taken to reach the term sheet stage, followed by 6-8 weeks to complete due diligence, investment documentation and disburse capital.
