Esprit’s first prototype store launches in Hong Kong

Adding another feather to their hat, Esprit, a premium lifestyle brand launched its new flagship store on Peking Road – Hong Kong amongst much fan fare at a star studded event.

The launch saw Chet Lam and Jun Kung performing at the event which was also attended by Eunice Chan, Carl Ng, Rosemary, Fala Chan, Mandy Cho, Lene Lai, Kate Yeung, Keen Wong, Terence Yin and many more.

The new store is the first prototype store to launch outside of Germany and comes attached with a unique store design and layout to showcase Esprit clothing in a new environment.

Spread across 1,900 square metres, the interiors of the store is the result of a modern and contemporary interpretation of the influential Memphis design. This influence has inspired the interiors from the fixtures, furnishings and lighting to create a completely new look and feel for the store.

Creating an interactive display, The store features a distinctive architectural design that includes 24,000 glass lenses on the 1,000 square metre facade of the building which allows the store to “broadcast” images onto the exterior of the building,. This never-seen-before surface effect is designed by Corneille Uedingslohman, a German architectural firm based in Cologne.

In addition to this, the store also features The Fall / Holiday Esprit Men Collection for 2009-2010, a new menswear collection.

Esprit Men Collection is a cross over between athletic and business inspired elements. Brit chic with Oxford appeal brings a classic pattern with glen checks, tartan plaids and subtle minimalist design to the table.

The Collection lends warm, lush tones to winter, such as petrol, red and purple that adds just the right touch of colour.

With an endeavour to give you a complete makeover not just in terms of clothing, this new Esprit also houses Esprit Salon operating on the third floor, providing professional hair care, manicure and pedicure services
