Esprit launches flagship store in Chennai

Esprit, the leading international lifestyle brand today announced the launch of its flagship store in Chennai at No. 8, Buva House, Khader Nivas Khan Road, Nungambakam, Chennai, with celebrated actor Madhavan.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Manjula Tiwari, COO, Esprit, said: "The opening of this beautiful and unusual store is a great milestone for Esprit in India. The 6000 + sq. ft. store has been built retaining the charm of the mansion and its essence giving way to a beautifully crafted Esprit Heritage Store.

Everything added compliments the original look of the house. The layout of the store with its little tucked away spaces adds to the air of mystery allowing guests to discover the different worlds of Esprit and browse in privacy.

Housed in this beautiful structure is Esprit's latest Autumn/Holiday 2008/2009 collection for men, women & children.

The Autumn/Holiday 2008/2009 collection accentuates a sporty statement through colours like natural tones, yellow, green and pink amongst others. The collection is high on creativity and innovative in design with a focus on quality. It caters to the smart and chic urban with a distinct taste for silhouettes that are strong individualistic statement pieces. The trademarks of the collection are the strong elements of surface detailing and ornamentation with an emphasis on comfort and wear-ability.

Twilight tones and precious jewel colours characterise the look in a diversity of materials: tweeds, cotton, soft silk, felted fabrics, wool, nylon and satin. Knitted pullovers, cardigans, long-sleeve polo shirts make a bold statement with elegant dark denim styles.
